NEW Interactive Journaling-Mathematics Grades 3

This TEKS based Math interactive journal (foldable^®) is designed to incorporate all of the major topics throughout the course. We have organized the journal around the information that students need for understanding of a concept, but leave room for teacher autonomy in choosing what students will include within the document. Practice cards, puzzles and notes are all included in this one-of-a-kind journal, and they can be incorporated into your existing math curriculum. Teachers may choose to build this interactive journal throughout the year with a variety of ready to use foldables’^® on the tested TEKS. These foldables’^® can be integrated into your daily lesson, into station activities or used as a spiral review during the year. However, this creative journal can also be built as a review during the days just prior to the STAAR assessment as well. This tool is invaluable for teachers and students to successfully implement our more rigorous math TEKS and prepare for the Texas STAAR assessment. Materials will be provided.

Important Session Information:

This two-day training is a make-and-take experience where teachers will create an envelope interactive notebook to use as an instructional model. This journal bundles TEKS by reporting categories to promote student success on STAAR EOC. Each participant will leave with a completed interactive journal and one black and white reproducible master to use for their students.
