While teaching reading and writing can be two very complex tasks, the intellectual processes needed for students to master both are reciprocal. So why should they be taught separately?

Join me as we explore best practices and strategies for effectively integrating TEKS-based reading and writing instruction while recognizing and appreciating the recursive nature of both. While all are welcome to attend, the focus of this training will be on grades three through eight.
