Take a closer look at the Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) section of the IEP.
•Explore the key elements of writing a clear, effective and appropriate PLAAFP statement during the Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
•Learn to use the identified critical areas of need and impact statement from the FIE to drive your PLAAFP writing process.
•Utilize information and data collected from a variety of sources to write accurate baselines addressing critical areas of need.
The session will include an opportunity to build a PLAAFP statement for one of your students.
Required prerequisite: “Standards-Based IEP Process” PD OR “IEP Quality & Rigor”
