The presentation will discuss evaluation planning, assessment instruments, contributions of team members, implications from due process hearings and co-occurring and differential classification issues for students suspected of an autism spectrum disorder. Special education classifications such as intellectual disability, emotional disturbance, specific learning disability and Other Health Impairment - ADHD will be discussed within the context of co-occurrence and differential classification.
