Completing Your Autism Toolbox with the CARS-2 (via Zoom)

      


The Childhood Autism Rating Scale-2nd Edition (CARS-2) helps to identify children with autism and determine symptom severity through quantifiable ratings based on direct observation. The CARS-2 allows you to integrate diagnostic information, determine functional capabilities, provide feedback to parents, and design targeted interventions.  Ratings are based not only on the frequency of the behavior in question, but also on its intensity, peculiarity, and duration, giving you greater flexibility in integrating diagnostic information, yet still yielding quantitative results.  In this workshop, participants will learn how to administer and score the CARS-2.
