SLP Webinar Series: If Dismissal is the Answer, What Questions Should We Be Asking?
Share
One of the most complex situations for a school-based SLP is determining when to dismiss a student from services, particularly when the data is not clear and concise. We will explore how to better determine the reasons for lack of progress, how to write SMART goals for good data collection that will lead to clearer, concise outcomes, and how to explain the dismissal to staff and parents for a more collaborate, mutually understood conversation.
