4 - Part Virtual Series for ELAR Grades 4-8

1. Foundations For Thinking - Participants will learn to foster a thinking-rich culture in their classrooms as they take a deep, guided tour through the Foundations for Thinking Flip Chart
2.  Depth of Knowledge - Participants are introduced to the power of using Revised Bloom's Taxonomy and Depth of Knowledge for quality instructions; and are guided through three scenarios to determine the depth and complexity required by the student expectations
3. TEKS Mastery - During this professional development. Participants are guided through an introductory study of the overarching principles that fuel the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills., followed by a deep dive into the TEKS Mastery Series implementation for ELAR
4. Differentiated Instruction - During this professional development, participants focus on four key fields of vision to build a balanced learning experience including tiered assignments and anchor activities.
