Student success starts with crafting the right plan for using Think Through Math. This Training of Trainers (TOT) will walk you through the steps of a successful implementation.

OBJECTIVES:

• Understanding Key Features and Functions of TTM: This topic will include effectively navigating the teacher dashboard, enrolling students, managing learning pathways, and reviewing progress reports.

• Maximizing Student Motivation: Drive student success in math with proven tips and techniques for getting the most out of our embedded motivation and applying some of your own motivation programs.

• Power of Math Journaling: This topic covers the journaling strategies that help students build deep understanding of mathematical concepts by showing their work.

• TTM and the Quantile Framework: TTM has incorporated the Quantile scale form MetaMetrics (the math equivalent of the popular Lexile scale for reading) to provide teachers with the information they need to ensure that every student is working within their zone of proximal development.

• Instructional Models for TTM: There is no “one size fits all” instructional model. We will explore how TTM can work for different classroom models, such as blended learning, flipped classroom, or rotation model.
