A full-day presentation of medical conditions, skills stations, and simulation scenarios to cover safe, evidence-based nursing skills commonly required in Texas school districts for high medical needs students: enteral feeding (G-tube/J-tube), tracheostomy care & suctioning, intermittent urinary catheterization, administration of emergency meds (glucagon, epinephrine, rescue inhalers), seizure interventions (including magnet device), and more.
