Maureen Ucles is bringing her "Let's Go Now" Grammar Make & Take back to Region 5 for a 2 day Workshop. Teachers will experience hands on approaches to the teaching of grammar, spelling and composition.  Teachers will create quick lists, incorporate quick writes and explore expository structures including literary analysis structures. These structures will prepare students to answer questions included with the short constructions responses on STAAR.  Teachers will explore sentence structures, revision strategies, and create booklets within the grammar and spelling study.  You will leave this session energized and ready to implements these teaching strategies for a fresh new year.
