This presentation will facilitate a better understanding of the underlying causes of dysgraphia, including orthographic processing. Case studies will help develop the participants’ ability to use both formal and informal data for evaluation and identification. Measures of orthographic processing will be reviewed and demonstrated. This training will facilitate a comprehensive assessment of SLD in the area of writing, which incorporates all of the elements for dysgraphia. Sample conclusions will be provided and interventions will be discussed.
