Emergent Bilinguals and SLD/Dyslexia Identification

      


Dr. Corinna Cole will provide participants with current best practice guidelines in the evaluation and interpretation of testing results for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. Focus will be placed on SLD and Dyslexia determination.  In addition, Dr. Cole will provide participants with administration guidelines for the WMLS-III English and Spanish versions. Training will focus on the use of the WMLS-III for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students’ language proficiency determination and its use to supplement Spanish Dyslexia evaluations.
