Region 5 will be hosting a training on Emergency Management & Stop The Bleed. This training addresses the mandate outlined in HB 496 of the 86th Legislative Session. Certain district personnel, who are reasonably expected to use a bleeding control station, are required to be trained to use the station. Personnel in this category, includes but is not limited to school security personnel, school resource officers and school nurses. Please evaluate your district and decide who should attend.
