Autism Assessment and Understanding – A Team Approach is the Best Approach

      


Autism assessment can be a daunting process with the various aspects needed to make a thorough and proper decision for an individual. Developing and utilizing a team approach can change the dynamics of the assessment and decision-making process. This session will have open discussions regarding the team approach and considerations for team members, the process, procedures, data analysis, assessment outcomes, and decision making. Participants will also receive information on utilizing the team approach for FBAs and BIPs, In-Home, Community Based/Parent Training, addressing the Autism Supplement, and other related topics.
