Let’s Go Now! Grammar Make & Take with Maureen Ucles from Gretchen Bernabei's Trail of Breadcrumbs




      


The teachers will experience hands-on approaches to the teaching of grammar, spelling, and composition. Teachers will create quick lists, incorporate quick writes, and explore expository structures including literary analysis structures. These structures will prepare students to answer questions included with the short constructed responses on STAAR. Teachers will explore sentence structures, revision strategies, create booklets within the grammar and spelling study. Teachers will leave this session energized and ready to implement these teaching strategies immediately.

With the new changes to the 3-8 STAAR Reading tests and writing now being added, this workshop is a GREAT opportunity to get some helpful tips and strategies to help our 3rd - 8th graders and their grammar skills.
