This book study explores the book, "How the Brain Learns Mathematics" by David Sousa. As you navigate through the course, you will discover research and reasoning behind how the brain processes math, factors that contribute to math success and struggle, and how to differentiate you instruction based on new understanding (including differentiation for GT students).

Audience:  K-12 math teachers.

This is an on-line course through Canvas that is completely self-paced.

A link for the course will be sent to the email that you registered with.  Book will be available at Region 5 ESC after registration.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive 12 hours of math CPE credit and 6 hours of GT credit.
