This workshop will cover TRS Processing in ASCENDER for Payroll staff. The TRS process includes TRS extraction of records, data maintenance, and file creation to upload to the TRS RE Portal. We will also review the TRS interface, paying and posting the TexNet payment, and reviewing the payroll liability accounts. In addition, we will discuss the required TRS fields for staff, the payroll records submitted to TRS, and best practices while TRS reporting. The second half of the day will be a lab for those who would like to stay and process August TRS on site.
