Children's Lit with a Science Fit




      


This course is designed to foster science exploration in conjunction with popular Children's Literature. Participants will be able to experience vocabulary, concepts and phenomena of the science world that lend themselves directly to common books the young Early Childhood student would love. The goal is to make the teacher more comfortable with science content in a familiar setting and with direct classroom connections. Participants will see first hand through video and demonstrations how to implement these concepts in a classroom setting. This is a self-paced two-week prerecorded course through Canvas.

This is a self-paced virtual Canvas Workshop.  The link will be emailed and materials will be delivered to all registered participants prior to the training dates of June 28 - July 12, 2021.
