Home on the Range Teacher Workshop - Science Gr.K-5th

The Rob and Bessie Welder Wildlife Foundation’s Home on the Range Teacher Workshop and Rangelands educational modules provide hands-on, active learning with many outdoor activities to help K-5th grade educators convey the importance of rangeland conservation while establishing real world connections to science.

Each workshop participant will receive the digital Rangelands guide, which contains 27 easy to use inexpensive student-centered lessons. Each lesson includes 3-8 activities with a variety of teaching methods, using hands-on, real world science investigations that meets the needs of all students, and require the use of higher order thinking skills. 

All lessons are aligned to the core Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills and focused on science with connections to Social Studies, Language Arts, Math ,and Technology.
