Dysgraphia and Orthographic Processing




      


Orthographic Processing-

Participants in this session will explore what orthographic processing is. There will be an overview of identification of orthographic issues and intervention recommendations for students that struggle with orthographic processing. 

Dysgraphia Intervention-

Dysgraphia is a related disorder to dyslexia which affects handwriting, spelling and ultimately written composition. Students identified with dysgraphia require intervention customized to their specific needs.  This session will explore the necessary components for dysgraphia intervention and provide educators with a framework to individualize these interventions based on student needs.


Important Session Information:


This workshop will be comprised of two half-day sessions over two different topics: dysgraphia in the morning and orthographic processing in the afternoon. The participants will only need to register under one session number. The registration fee will allow them into both morning and afternoon. 

If they only want to attend one of the sessions, we may can reduce the fee.
