This class identifies key requirements related to the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) meal and snack patterns. It defines the importance of nutritious snacks in a child's diet. We will learn how to use nutrition recommendations, tools, and resources in planning and serving nutritious meals and snacks. Training will cover the serving of reimbursable meals and creditable foods needed to meat meal pattern.
