Dealing with student crises is a very important part of our job as school counselors. It is crucial to have a set protocol, for dealing with student crises, especially for those related to self-harm and suicidal ideation. Participants in this program will learn how to identify, respond to, and prevent student crises. Having an effective crisis protocol in place is the key to student safety.
