This purpose of this training is to promote and support out CE’s as we work towards incorporating Farm Fresh ideas in our schools. The goal of the “Farm Fresh Initiative” is to increase community collaboration, promote healthy lifestyles and improve the Texas economy. This segment of the training will incorporate “connecting” with agriculture and local farmers within our region. We will be hosting two local farmers who will share with you their unique ways of farming and the product that they have available for your schools.

The later part of the morning will include a Director’s Roundtable discussion regarding next year training's, opportunities, and challenges that you are experiencing at your CE, best practices, etc. We want to hear from “YOU” regarding your needs and challenges in your CNP program.
