This 8-hour training is intended for CNP Directors; however, Food Service Staff are welcome to attend also. A greater in-depth study of food safety in the cafeterias will be presented. This training contains lessons and activities which allow participants to be involved in learning the food safety concepts needed to prepare and serve food safely and to keep nutrition facilities safe and sanitary. Designed to provide school nutrition employees with up-to-date information on food safety, you will be covering topics such as HAZARD ANALYSIS AND CRITICAL CONTROL POINTS (HACCP), food safety, prevention of food borne illness, and how to keep a clean and sanitary school nutrition facility.
