Newton ISD: Dyslexia and Child Find Responsibilities under IDEA and 504

      


 Data collection through progress monitoring supports the identification of students for the identification of disabilities under IDEA and 504 and contributes to the development of the modifications, accommodations, and the development of a student's PLAAFP.  Staff will review assessment data that exists for all students on the campus and how this data can guide referral decisions and contribute to the 504 and SPED evaluation reports for students.
