To understand early brain development and the implications of chronic stress;
To strategize how we can respond to the needs of young children during and following a disaster, especially when behavior may be challenging;
To build awareness and skills for using reflective practices to provide support as professionals prepare, respond, or
reflect on significant community events in their work.
To promote caregiver self-care as a strategy in supporting young children during times of distress.
