This workshop will explore the unique history of Texas, lokking at local communities in particular.

Important Session Information:


Workshop will be held at Newton Elementary School - 416 East Street, Newton TX

TRAINING OBJECTIVES:

  • To explore unique processes for studying and researching Texas History
  • To learn about interesting projects that are the result of these research methods and how they add to the base of knowledge of Texas’ history
  • To develop strategies for translating these “processes and projects” to meaningful educational experiences for Texas History students and all life-long-learning Texas History enthusiasts
